Enhanced Integrated Development Environment Security Authorizations
- Users can now leverage multi-factor authentication (MFA) using the identity provider Microsoft Entra, formerly Azure Active Directory (AD) when connecting to MySQL and PostgreSQL. These users gain the inherent security policies and procedures from Microsoft Entra and receive the advantage of only entering their password once.
Enhanced MongoDB Performance with an upgrade from Version 5.0 to 6.0
- With this upgrade, Aqua Data Studio users can benefit from the built-in time series collections.
- This allows users to specify hints using either the index name or the index key pattern, enhancing the analysis by incorporating scenarios related to distance and location. This could, for instance, involve monitoring temperature changes in refrigerated delivery vehicles during a hot summer day.
- With improved sorting operations, users can now quickly retrieve the last data point in a series without scanning the entire collection, resulting in faster reads.
